Absolutely Worth the Money – Top-Tier E-Bikes

GhostKat e-bikes are hands down some of the best e-bikes you can buy. They are super powerful, very fast, and have high torque that makes riding effortless and fun. The suspension is extremely comfortable, even on rough roads, and the brakes are excellent, giving you full confidence and control.

Everything about these bikes feels high quality and well built. They clearly have a much longer lifespan compared to many other e-bike brands, which really makes them worth the money.

On top of that, their support team is fantastic—helpful, responsive, and genuinely cares about their customers. That alone sets GhostKat apart.

I just picked my bike up yesterday and my life has already changed. I ordered the F3. 2 Pro to get delivered to my house, even though I was local. After a few days I couldn’t wait any longer, So I went to their shop in San Clemente to pick up my bike. When I arrived I got the opportunity to speak with Kevin the owner and founder of Ghostcat Bikes. He said they would build my bike for free if I didn’t mind coming back in a hour. He also said they would run tests to make sure everything is working smoothly. When I came back he said he had bad news, they didn’t have my bike in stock. Then I got the best surprise of my life. He built an F3X .2 Pro and gave me that instead. I just wanted to let everyone know Ghostcat is the place to get your bikes from. They’re bikes are all exceptional for the price tag and give you the best bang for your buck. I’m am so shocked at the comfort of these bikes, the suspension is miles ahead of other bikes. Love the bike it has plenty of power and torque. It climes hills with no problem only have 50 miles on it so far can’t wait to ride more. Love it in the dirt trails and jumps it is smooth riding bike so much better than my super 77 . Great bike

I recently hit 200 miles on my f3.2, and so far it’s been a blast. here’s what i think after a bit over 1 month of owning and riding it.

Acceleration/Torque (10/10) I’ve owned a macfox x1, tried dual battery bikes, and played around with several friends moped style ebikes. I can say with certainty that it accelerates like no other moped style ebike that i’ve ever ridden on (other than the goat bikes). The geared hub motor is no joke and i can reach 20 miles from a stand still in under 5 seconds. Comparing it to my friends Motor Goat v3, i would say that the f3.2 has slightly more low end (0-15) and acceleration is similar until 25 ish mph and after that the goat starts pullung away. And holy shit it probably has the best hill climbing ability out of any ebike under $3k. There’s a steep 30-35% incline on a hill near my area and out of all the bikes that are not e motos that ive tried to make up the hill have failed (my maxfox barely made it 10 feet). Not this one. From a standstill, at the bottom of the hill, no throttle it got up the hill entirely on its own at around 7-8 mph.

Top speed (8/10): I was expecting the top speed to be a bit higher (38-39mph) especially after the 45 amp controller upgrade. It was a bit underwhelming that the top speed i got was 35-36 mph, which is still respectable. riding in the local street lanes it is slightly slower than cars. In this aspect the goat bikes are definitely faster and keeps up with local speeds better. I would say acceleratation is strong up until 30 ish mph and after that it tapers off, especially if the battery is in the lower percentages

Range (9/10): I get around 17-20 miles, keep in mind this is going up some hills and going somewhat fast. It would definitely get more range if you limit speed to around 20 miles and i would expect it to get around 25-30 mph doing so.

Comfort/Suspension (9.5/10): The rear shock (KKE BA-27) is absolutely the best rear shocks ive ridden on in these moped style ebikes, i would even argue that it is better than some of the e-dirt bikes out there. it eats up bumps like its nothing and it’s definitely feels cloud-like. The only reason why this section is not rated a 10/10 is because the front forks, while adjustable and gets the job done, isnt the best. If you’re willing to spend the extra 400/500 on the f3.2x pro model which comes with a kke front fork this section would easily be a 10/10.

Handling/Fun Factor (9.5/10): This is definitely one of the lightest e-mopeds (85 pounds with battery) that ive ever tried. Because of this, the handling is very quick and it feels like a blast. From a standstill when you accelerate it feels more like a e-moto than a e-bike. The fun factor is off the charts as the combination of the instant torque of the geared hub motor, the suspension, and the light weight of this bike makes it a blast to launch. If you’re not careful the front wheel can definitely lift if your foot is on the ground at a standstill. The turning radius is a bit worse than most bikes because of the way the frame is built which is why this section is not a 10/10

Reliability/Components (9.5/10): After 200 miles, ive had no issues yet. The usage of peek material motor gears, break components, kke suspension, and the advanced display makes the bike feel premium. my only concern is there is a wobble to the battery but that can be fixed with straps. Ive heard other people having issues with their controllers but im pretty sure those are the f4x models so for now this is the score. Additionally customer support is California based and responds fast so that is a good bonus.

Mods/Customization (8.5/10): There are so many colors to choose from (like the purple i got) and the right colors can really make the bike stand out. There are aftermarket upgrades that can be done to this bike from Powerful Lithium. Because of this if you are looking to upgrade this bike it is possible to, but battety modding is kind of limited because of the way the frame geometry works. There is an optional $325 seat which ive not tested yet but from what i know it makes the bike more comfortable and has a 2 inch rise in seat height.

Overall score (9.1/10): This bike is definitely a blast to ride and its standout features are acceleration out of a dig, suspension, and comfort. If you’re looking for a bike that has a 40+ mph top speed and long range than this is not the bike to get. Get the motor goat for that. But overall i would definitely recommend this bike over cheaper “fast” bikes like the tuttio ICT because of the components used.

In an age of over-hype it is a great pleasure to find a company that under promises and over delivers. Loving every minute with my new F4XPRO.

A few of the parts broke, including the controller, and recently, the kickstand got ripped off, there is nothing to screw in but it’s okay, they have me a new controller, and recently, the pedal assist activated as I was picking up the bike, due to the broken kickstand launching it into a stream 3 feet deep. The bike was completely submerged and still somehow works!

So I now have over 1000 miles on my first gen F3X (mostly offroad singletrack riding) and I just have to leave another review. My bike has exceeded my expectations on build quality, performance, and fun factor. Its the perfect bike for me. The fact that you can actually call and talk to a live person with questions or any minor issues is beyond awesome. Its great to see a company like Ghostcat take off. Kadeem and Craig are the dynamic duo of amazing customer support and knowledge. I will be a loyal customer for life and will ride nothing else! Go Ghostcat!!

By far the best handling ebike with pedals on the market. It just oozes performance! I can carve switchbacks on and off road with my F3X like a motorcycle. Handling, torque and braking are superb. The customer service at Ghostcat is top notch. Many thanks to Kadeem who has helped me immensly with many technical questions Ive asked, along with minor issues Ive experienced that were quickly addressed and taken care of. He is a great asset to the team and has extreme knowledge of all the bikes and components. What a terrific bike and company Kevin has put together, simply the best!!

I've had my f3 pro 1500 for 3 months now and use it to commute and run errands every day of the week.it has been extremely durable and reliable in all weather and terrain scenarios thus far.i'm extremely pleased with its value and price point and everyone asks about it and I spread the news to as many people as I can.it is a superior product for the money!
