How fast is a GhostCat?
How fast is a GhostCat?
It depends on the model. Top speeds range from a street-legal 20 mph (F3X Class 2) up to 44+ mph (Saber S1). Every bike ships factory-set to a street-legal 20 mph; higher-speed off-road modes are intended for private property only. See each product page for its rated top speed.
What do the e-bike “classes” mean, and can I change my bike’s speed?
What do the e-bike “classes” mean, and can I change my bike’s speed?
Class 1 is pedal-assist up to 20mph, Class 2 adds a throttle up to 20mph, and Class 3 assists up to 28mph. GhostCat bikes ship in a street-legal Class 2 setting (20mph and 750W). Some models can be switched into a higher-speed off-road mode. Important: unlocking off-road or higher speeds changes the bike’s legal classification, is intended for private property only, and is done at the rider’s own risk — it is not advised by GhostCat for public roads.
