What this video covers
Removing and reinstalling the rear wheel on the F3 / F3X Pro (for a flat or a motor gear change).
Tools needed
4 mm and 5 mm Allen keys, a 21 mm deep socket / impact wrench, a 10 mm wrench, and a ratchet.
Steps
- Remove the derailleur guard (4 mm), then push the derailleur forward to slack the chain and rest the chain on the crank arm.
- Flip up the peg (5 mm) and remove the derailleur — support it from behind and rest the chain + derailleur flat on the rear peg so the chain doesn't kink.
- Loosen the 21 mm axle nuts (they're torqued tight). Note the spacer/torque-washer order: cassette side sits inside the frame, rotor (non-cassette) side sits outside.
- Cut the zip ties holding the motor cable, then remove the wheel from the swing arm (10 mm).
- Reassemble in reverse — washers on the correct sides. The derailleur set screw must seat on the flat surface of the swing arm; reset the chain and reinstall the guard.
