Step-by-step unboxing and assembly of the GhostCat F3.
Tools needed
Household scissors, a Phillips screwdriver, and the included Allen keys.
Steps
- Cut the straps and tape, open the box, and verify the bike's orientation before rolling it out.
- Remove all styrofoam and cut loose the accessories (kickstand, front fender).
- Install the handlebars using the zero center-mark to align them; start two bolts, then finish the others.
- Install the rear suspension to the swing arm (pull the spring down, line up the suspension bolt).
- Install the front fender, then the front wheel — nuts and washer go on the outside of the frame, and align the disc rotor with the brake caliper.
- Install the pedals: right pedal = drive side, left = non-drive side, both reverse-threaded (grease the threads).
- Fit the kickstand behind the frame with the included lock nuts (5 mm).
- Mount the headlight (brackets angled slightly up, washers inside the bracket) and connect the waterproof plug by lining up the arrows.
- Install the color LCD display (USB port facing down, 2.5 mm screws) and the handle control, then the cell-phone pouch.
