Safely flipping the F3X and installing the front wheel on the DNM/KKE fork.
Steps
- Flipping the bike: squeeze the rear brake, bring it up onto the rear wheel, and set it down on the seat — pad the seat and the ends of the bars to protect the display, shifter, and brakes.
- Loosen the four pinch bolts, then tap the axle out. If it won't come out, the pinch bolts are still too tight — loosen them more.
- Leave the axle in one side, fit the rotor into the brake caliper, and slide the axle through.
- Align the other side (press down and turn until it seats), then hand-tighten the end caps.
- Cinch the two lock nuts (inside then outside, each side) to secure the axle and align the rotor so the pads don't contact.
