What this video covers
A full unboxing and assembly of the 2026 GhostCat Saber S1. The bike arrives mostly built, so setup is quick: attach the handlebars, front wheel, seat, pedals and front fender, then finish the cockpit with the display, thumb controller and headlight.
What's in the box
- Saber S1, largely pre-assembled, with the rear fender and rear rack already fitted
- 60V / 30Ah battery and a 67V 4A charger
- Color display, packaged separately so it can't be damaged in transit
- Headlight, Rock Bros pedals, and front and rear fenders
- Toolkit, touch-up paint, and zip ties
Assembly steps
- Charge the battery. Unlock and remove the 60V battery and put it on the charger while you build the bike.
- Handlebars. Undo the four stem-clamp bolts, rotate the bars up into riding position (brake levers readable on top, shifter on the right), center them, and tighten. The angle can be micro-adjusted later to suit your height and riding position.
- Front wheel. Flip the bike over (the display ships separately, so nothing up top is at risk). Pull the caliper shipping spacer out from between the brake pads and keep it for any future brake bleed. Slide the 203mm rotor into the caliper, pass the quick-release thru-axle through, and tighten.
- Kickstand. It's set from the factory, but the length is adjustable with an Allen wrench if you want it higher or lower.
- Seat. Drop the seatpost in, set the height (roughly just below your hips for an e-bike), and clamp it tight.
- Pedals. Thread on the left and right pedals and torque them down.
- Front fender. Attach it at the fork mounts, push it up for tire clearance, line it straight, and snug the bolts (an Allen wrench plus a 10mm wrench).
- Cockpit. Mount the display on the stem and connect the green connectors, matching the tabs and arrows. Add the thumb controller within easy reach, then fit the headlight with its bolt and spacer through the stem mount. Tidy the cables with the included zip ties.
- Power on and set up. Turn on the display to check the five assist modes, the headlight, and the brake/tail light. Hold the + and - buttons to open the settings menu (entered with a 4-digit code), where you can adjust the assist levels and speed limit.
