GhostCat F3X Routing the Front Brake Cord

What this video covers

Correctly routing the front brake hose on the F3X so it doesn't kink under suspension travel.

The fix

  1. From the factory the hose clamp is often positioned so the hose kinks when the suspension compresses.
  2. Loosen the 3 mm clamp bolt and move the clamp up and over as far as it will go, so the hose tucks underneath as the fork compresses.
  3. Don't move it so far that the hose hits the cowlings — find the spot that clears both.
  4. Cycle the suspension to confirm smooth telescoping. The hose should sit free in front and bow like a motocross bike's line.
