Simple Derailleur Adjustment! GhostCat F2.2 Pro

Adjusting the derailleur when the bike isn't shifting properly (Shimano Altus 7-speed).

Steps

1. Flip the bike upside down and rest the bars on stands to protect the display and shifter.
2. If the derailleur guard is bent inward (common from shipping) and blocking a gear, bend it back into place.
3. Set the high-limit screw so the derailleur can't travel past the smallest cog.
4. Set the low-limit screw so it can't travel past the largest cog into the motor.
5. Shift to 3rd gear and use the barrel adjuster to index the derailleur directly over that cog.
6. Test-shift through all seven gears, up and down.
