How to Fix a Broken E-Bike Brake Lever. GhostCat F2.2 Pro

What this video covers

Replacing a broken hydraulic brake lever on the F2.2 Pro (and similar hydraulic setups).

Steps

  1. Loosen the brake-lever retaining-pin locking bolt, then push the main retaining pin out from the bottom (pry from the top if needed).
  2. Loosen the bottom actuator-pin locking bolt, unscrew the actuator pin, and remove the old lever.
  3. Push the new actuator-pin housing into the new lever, align the threads, and screw the lever in until the retaining-pin holes line up.
  4. Insert the retaining pin and tighten its locking bolt.
  5. Adjust the silver actuator pin so the brake sensor fully presses and releases, then tighten the actuator-pin bolt.
  6. Test: rear wheel off the ground, give a tiny amount of throttle and squeeze the new lever — the power should cut out. If it doesn't, readjust the silver actuator bolt.
