What this video covers
Installing a Tapia seat the right way, plus fixing a controller that rattles in its compartment.
Steps
- Remove all the seat bolts (two at the back, four underneath) plus the four screws under the seat, and lift off the stock seat.
- Optional controller fix: if the controller rattles, secure it with a zip tie through the bottom holes and/or double-sided Gorilla tape. (Also set your rear suspension for your weight, or the tire can hit the controller box.)
- Set the Tapia seat on the frame and loosely start each screw — go slow, one hole at a time, leaving them loose so the remaining holes line up easily.
- Once all screws are started, tighten them down in a crisscross pattern for even seating.
